Banking Start-up Incubator
The multifunctional event and office space is located in the well-known listed building complex “Hackesche Höfe” in the heart of Berlin.
In order to facilitate diverse work, workshop, event and laboratory scenarios, an open space area with optimised acoustic and technical conditions was developed, which is equipped with customised elements that can be moved, rotated and thus modified. For example, a raised area can be converted into a focus room by means of curved mobile glass elements, and a range of rotating cabinets, several movable benches and room-dividing felt curtains are also part of the diverse selection of options for making the space as individually usable as possible.
Our focus is on a special yet uniform design that considers the special features of the extraordinary project.

The Berlin “Innovation Lab” as the first of three, the others will be placed in London and Silicon Valley, allows staff from the Bank and its technological partners to engage with start-ups and academic institutions to evaluate potential technology solutions for the Bank and its clients’ business needs..
