AUKETT + HEESE was commissioned with the design development of a new, flexible and communicative workplace concept for 3,000 employees as well as the subsequent concept and detailed planning for implementation in two new office buildings in Frankfurt’s Europaviertel.

The inspiration for the concept is railway tracks that connect towns and villages. The tracks can be read in the floor plan and connect colourful meeting / lounge areas within the “desk landscape”. This includes different work typologies such as sofas, phone boxes and think tanks.

We also provided close support and advice to the client’s user groups throughout the project, together with their expert moo-con – deutsche bahn personenverkehr advice on utilisation concepts and change management, and filtered their wishes, suggestions and specifications so that these could be translated into solutions that were appealing in terms of design, architecture and user-friendliness.
